With more than 25 years’ experience and thousands of hours of live television directing to his name, Del Brown is an experienced Director and Vision Mixer specialising in multi-camera live production.
His career spans live sport, entertainment, music, news, corporate events and digital broadcasting, working with organisations including Formula 1, Formula E, Paramount, Red Bull, Porsche and YouTube.
Del is the Founder and Creative Director of Funny Hands Media, an independent production company specialising in live television, streaming and event production. Alongside his directing work, he consults on channel launches, broadcast workflows and live production operations.
In 2007, Del established his own Live Directing and Vision Mixing training programme and continues to mentor and develop the next generation of television professionals through his university teaching and industry training work.
Recognised for his expertise within the industry, Del was invited to serve as a judge for the Best Multi-Camera Director category at the 2021 and 2026 BAFTA Craft Awards.
